Cafe Brown is a cozy and vibrant eatery specializing in authentic Asian cuisine and beverages, located in the heart of Steilacoom in Washington.
In this project, my role was to innovate Cafe browns brand identity and messaging. My responsibilities included defining the brand’s color scheme, typography, logo, marketing materials, and menus. I also worked closely with owner of Cafe Brown to establish its tone and personality, ensuring a cohesive and engaging brand experience for their customers.
Creating a brand identity for Cafe Brown comes with challenges such as aligning with the owners vision, standing out in a crowded market, balancing creativity with business goals, and resonating with the target audience. Additionally, developing compelling designs for marketing materials, packaging, and stationery that can be effectively used across all platforms is crucial.
To overcome these challenges, we begin with a well-defined brand strategy, aligning with Cafe Brown's core values and target audience. Conducting competitor research ensures Cafe Brown's authenticity. Establishing brand guidelines helps maintain consistency across all platforms. Additionally, designing with scalability in mind ensures adaptability across digital and print mediums, ensuring that every element stays true to Cafe Browns ’s brand.
